Pat's Message to Voters   Latest News

Kansas is facing difficult issues that require hard work and common sense solutions that are currently absent from Topeka. When I talk to people in my community and throughout Wyandotte county and Johnson county, I hear the same message-- our elected officials don't listen and don't understand. We need elected officials who believe our economy should reward hard work, believe education is the key to our children's future and our state's future, and know the government's role is to create an even playing field that doesn't give preferential treatment to the wealthy or connected.

The people of the sixth district deserve the opportunity to tell Kansas leaders that they reject the political games and partisan fighting that is infecting our Capitol.

I have worked as your senator for the last six years to fight against this ugly environment and I will continue to be your voice for fairness in taxes, education and access to services.
